ARTICLE 43: HOW TO CARRY OUT THE TRANSFER OF MERCHANDISE FROM AN AIRCRAFT OR VESSEL

     

    For the purposes of article 13 of the Law (LA: Art. 13), the transfer consists of the unloading of merchandise from an aircraft or vessel to be loaded into another aircraft or vessel, which may be carried out:

  • Directly, upon arrival of the vessel or aircraft at the first port with customs services or international airport in national territory, for later loading on another vessel or aircraft bound for another port with customs services or international airport in national territory or abroad, without being required to deposit said merchandise with customs, and
  •  

  • Prior deposit with customs, through the entry of the Merchandise before the fiscal or controlled premises, for subsequent loading in another vessel or aircraft bound for another port with customs services or international airport in national territory or abroad.
