ARTICLE 23:

    Rights for the provision of notarial services in Mexican consular offices will be paid according to the following fees:

  • For the waiver of inheritance rights .......................... $ 2,325.00

  • For the mandates or powers, as well as the revocation of the same:

  • General or special granted by individuals .................. $ 2,325.00
  •  

  • General or special granted by legal entities ................. $ 3,495.00
  •  

  • For each open public will .................................. $ 5,955.00
  •  

  • For the issuance of subsequent Testimonies, per sheet .................. $ 145.00
  •

  • For the authorizations granted by people who exercise parental authority or guardianship over minors or the incapacitated ............................. $ 895.00
  •  

  • For other certifications other than those indicated in article 22 of this Law (LFD: Art. 22) .................................................. $ 230.00

    Provided that a notarial deed contains various contracts or acts, the rights will be set for each of the main contracts or acts and 50% for accessories and complementary.

    In the cases in which in accordance with the Law of Notaries (Ley del Notariado) for the Federal District, the Consul has to put in the deeds the annotation of "It did not pass", the value of the rights will be paid in full; but if that deed is repeated before the same Consul, for the new deed only 50% will be paid.

    The rights obtained by way of the preceding sections will be used to integrate the fund referred to in section XI of article 2 of the Mexican Foreign Service Law (Ley del Servicio Exterior Mexicano).
