ARTICLE 1: TRANSITORIES OF DECEMBER 30, 1993

     

    First.- This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación).

    Second.- In accordance with the provisions of the Third Transitory of the Foreign Trade Law (Ley de Comercio Exterior), the following will be repealed; the Decree will establish the organization and functions of the Committee on Tariffs and Controls on Foreign Trade, published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación) on June 8, 1989; the Decree that creates the Mixed Commission for the Promotion of Exports and Establishes its Organization and Functions, published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación) on July 27, 1989; the Decree establishing the National Export Award, published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación) on April 12, 1993, and the Regulations on Import Permits or Export Permits of Restricted Merchandise, published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación) on September 14, 1977, and all other provisions that oppose this ordinance.

    Third.- As long as new forms are issued for requests for export or import permits, or modifications to them, the forms currently in use will continue to be used.

    Fourth.- Requests for export or import permits that are in process at the time this Regulation enters into force will be resolved in accordance with the provisions of the same.

    Fifth.- Administrative procedures regarding unfair international trade practices and safeguard measures that are being processed in accordance with the Regulatory Law of 131 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States regarding Foreign Trade and the Regulation against Unfair International Trade Practices, will be concluded according to these regulations.

    Sixth.- The administrative procedures regarding unfair practices and safeguard measures initiated after the entry into force of the Foreign Trade Law (Ley de Comercio Exterior), published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación) on July 27, 1993, will continue its process according to this Regulation.
