ARTICLE 205: CRITERIA THAT DETERMINE THE CATEGORIES

     

    The categories referred to in the previous article will be determined according to the following criteria:

  • Small industrial company, which occupies up to 100 people. This category will include individuals;
  •  

  • Medium industrial company, which occupies 101 to 250 people;
  •  

  • Large industrial company, which occupies more than 251 people;
  •  

  • Company of the primary sector and agro-industry, the one that produces agricultural, forestry or fishing, including processed products, for export, as well as the one dedicated to the production of merchandise derived directly from the mining activity for export;
  •  

  • Maquiladora company, which has the corresponding registry granted by the Ministry; (LCE: Art. 3) (RLCE: Art. 1)
  •  

  • Trading company, the one that carries out operations of purchase and sale of merchandise abroad;
  •  

  • Service company, which provides or export support services, and
  •  

  • Institution that supports the export activity, which encourages the development of mechanisms for the growth of Mexican exports or promotes teaching and research activities in foreign trade.
  •  

    The Ministry may modify these criteria prior to the publication of the respective announcement.
