ARTICLE 180: FUNCTIONS THAT COMPEX WILL PERFORM TO FULFILL ITS OBJECTIVES

     

    To meet the objectives referred to in article 177 of these Regulations (RLCE: Art. 177), the Mixed Commission (RLCE: Art. 1) will perform the following functions:

  • Design and implement policies, guidelines, mechanisms and criteria for the promotion of exports of goods and services;
  •  

  • Design and implement mechanisms that guarantee the adequate coordination of the actions of the dependencies and entities of the Federal Public Administration (Administración Pública Federal) regarding the promotion of exports and, in particular, propose and promote measures to expedite administrative procedures and the elimination of obstacles that prevent the good performance of the export sector;
  •  

  • To determine, together with the governments of the federal entities, the procedures for participation, communication and consultation that allow the adequate coordination of policies and actions aimed at the promotion of exports of goods and services, as well as the strategies and actions that will be subject to coordination with the governments of the federal entities;
  •  

  • Formulate and establish policies and concerted actions with the private sector representations for the promotion of foreign trade, as well as arrange specific support to promote export projects with commercial, technical and financial viability;
  •  

  • Hold meetings at different levels and modalities to evaluate and dictate the measures to be taken, so that the projects and actions and resolutions agreed within the Mixed Commission are carried out in their entirety and promptly;
  •  

  • Establish the specialized groups that it deems appropriate for the expedited resolution of matters related to the promotion of exports;
  •  

  • Participate actively in the amend or adaptation of regulations related to export activity;
  •  

  • To promote the export culture through the organization of events and seminars on foreign trade, the development of publications on the subject and the link between educational institutions and the Mixed Commission, among others;
  •  

  • Promote the participation of companies in the National Export Award (LCE: Art. 92), and
  •  

  • The others indicated by the Federal Executive and are necessary to analyze, evaluate, propose and arrange actions between the public and private sectors in matters of foreign trade in goods and services.
