ARTICLE 40: CALCULATION OF THE NORMAL VALUE AND EXPORT PRICE

In general terms, both the normal value and the export price will be calculated according to the figures obtained from the weighted averages observed during the investigation period.

When the normal value is determined on the basis of the prices referred to in article 31 of the Law (LCE: Art. 31), these will be weighted according to the relative participation of each transaction in the total volume of sales in the country of origin or export to a third world country, as appropriate.

In the event that the normal value is established from the reconstructed value, the production costs that have been estimated for subperiods within the investigation period will be weighted according to the relative participation of the production of each subperiod in the total volume produced.

The export prices will be weighted according to the relative participation of each transaction in the total exported volume.
