ARTICLE 31: OTHER PROCEDURES FOR ASSIGNING QUOTAS

When the Ministry (RLCE: Art. 1) deems it necessary, in the terms of the second paragraph of article 24 of the Law (LCE: Art. 24), may assign a quota for export or import through procedures other than public bidding.

In cases where quotas are allocated directly or in the order in which importers arrive at customs, the Ministry may establish individual ceilings regarding its value, quantity or volume for certain export or import merchandise.
