    • ARTICLE 4: UNDERSECRETARIES PARTICIPATING IN THE COCEX (FOREIGN TRADE COMMISSION)

     

    They will participate in the Commission (LCE: Art. 3) (RLCE: Art. 1) at the level of undersecretaries:

  • For the Ministry (LCE: Art. 3) (RLCE: Art. 1), the Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce (Subsecretario de Industria y Comercio), who will preside over it, and exercise the vote that corresponds to the agency; the Undersecretary of Foreign Trade (Subsecretario de Comercio Exterior) and the Undersecretary of Competitiveness and Regulations (Subsecretario de Competitividad y Normatividad). The President of the Commission at this level will be replaced in their absence by the other undersecretaries of the Ministry in the order indicated in this section, and

    •  

  • For the other Ministries referred to in article 2 of this Regulation (RLCE: Art. 2), the undersecretary will be appointed by the corresponding agency.

    • At this level, the Director General of Foreign Trade of the Foreign Trade Commission will serve as Technical Secretary of the Commission and in their absence, it shall be covered by the general director appointed by the Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce (Subsecretario de Industria y Comercio).
