ARTICLE 90: OBJECTIVE OF THE PROMOTION OF EXPORT

     

    The promotion of exports will aim at the consolidation and quantitative and qualitative improvement of exports of Mexican manufactured products, agro-industrial, services and technology in international markets. For this, annual programs will be arranged with the representative organizations of the productive sectors in order to make an effective allocation of the resources.

    Promotion of exports activities will seek:

  • Take advantage of the achievements in international trade negotiations;
  •  

  • Facilitate export projects, with priority in supporting micro, small and medium enterprises;
  •  

  • Contribute to solve the problems faced by companies to attend international markets and establish a permanent program of deregulation and administrative simplification in the field of exports, including those derived from the dispute resolution mechanisms provided for in international treaties of which Mexico is part of;
  •  

  • Provide in an expedited manner the support services of foreign trade and the benefits that official export promotion programs establish, and
  •  

  • Other actions expressly indicated by other laws or regulations.
  •  

    The Ministry (LCE: Art. 3) (RLCE: Art. 1) may design, through agreements published in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación), mechanisms for coordinating promotional activities. The coordination of the promotion will aim to establish general guidelines for the effective performance, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the promotion of export.
